We are part of the inheritance of Christ

Image
Our inheritance is in Christ, BUT…. the above scripture also tells us that Jesus Himself has an inheritance --which is US (ie: 'in the saints'). This should make you understand the context of the judgement seat of Christ, and the importance of having gold, silver, and precious stones, to offer Christ in that day. You are of His inheritance. When we know this, it's not just a matter of getting saved anymore! We should increase in value in order to increase His inheritance before the Father. WOW!!!  Let’s understand then that we ought not to be satisfied in just being a nominal Christian. We ought to press on in the doctrine of Christ and let it build up knowledge and wisdom of the doctrine within us, forming Christ in us, which are the riches of truth and glory, that we might be of value to the inheritance of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wood, hay and stubble have no value in the Kingdom! ______________ Please share these with friends and family. Use this WhatsApp channel to rec...

Our presentation before the Father after our fiery judgement

Image
Our key verse above deals with the judgement seat of Christ after we have been caught up at the rapture and taken to heaven. Looking at the details of this verse, we can learn something new and interesting concerning the event that most people overlook. Christ's fiery judgement is to stablish us, making our hearts unblameable in holiness before God, our Father. Then, after this judgement, we are ushered into God's presence where it is likely that we will receive our reward; a measure of the glory of Christ.   How do I interpret this? Well, in 1Th.4:16-18, Jesus comes FOR his saints to meet them in the clouds and catch them up to heaven. But, in our verse above it says that Jesus comes WITH his saints.  Friends, this is not the rapture. How can it be if we are already WITH him. No. This detail describes a presentation to God (probably in the throne room) after we are made unblameable in holiness. It is at this presentation where we are rewarded with our measure of Christ's ...

No. God will NOT enjoy it! It is not His will that any perish, 2Pet 3:9. He did EVERYTHING He could to prevent their destruction. But God’s wrath is righteous and perfectly just, and, at the appointed time, He will NOT hesitate in judgement to send the Christ rejecting people to the eternal flames. Why would God resurrect people just to put them to death again? Here's 3 points that the Bible makes perfectly clear: Human death is not the eternal death. These two are very different types of death.  The guilty must face judgement for their sins, their guilt and ungodliness. ALL must bow the knee to Christ, confessing His Lordship. Isa.45:23; Rom.14:1; Phil.2:10-11 The guilty will be cast into the eternal flames, because of their own choice, rejecting what God had made known to them all through their life. Though it might shock some, there is no injustice here. God's actions are perfectly just, righteous, and honourable according to His Word. ______________ Join my WhatsApp chan...

What does it mean to be baptized with fire?

Image
It is common for modern Charismatic denominations to call upon the fire of God, connecting this with the power of the Holy Spirit in Matt.3 and Acts.2. But, this a gross misinterpretation of scripture. Being baptized with fire is not a ‘good’ thing! It is in actual fact a reference to the horrific judgements of the tribulation, leading up to the second coming of Christ.  Notice we have fire 3-times in Matt.3:10–12. In v10 it is negative and regarding fruitless trees being burned up in the fire. In v12 it is negative referring to the chaff being burned with unquenchable fire. So, why would v11 be any different? Its context remains the same as the verses that surround it, interpreting the fire as judgement at His second coming. That’s not a fire I want to call down upon myself!! Can you see how misinterpreting verses like this can cause a false narrative of scripture and lead to doctrines that are skewed and confusing. It is vital to understand right division! ______________ J...

Zechariah did not see our dispensation

Image
Just like Zechariah's prophecy in the image, there are dozens of other Old Testament prophecies that combine Christ’s two comings without any gap between them for our dispensation. Prophecy foretells two great events, (1) the meek and lowly advent of the Messiah as the Son of man, and (2) the defeat of Israel's enemies and the Millennial kingdom on the earth in which Israel would be preeminent. The Old Testament prophets didn't know of two additional comings of Christ to divide the two prophesied comings —one coming to start our grace dispensation (saving Saul) and one to end it (the rapture). These are the two comings according to mystery, that “which was kept secret since the world began” (Rom 16:25-26). Nothing in the Old Testament indicated God would delay the prophetic program for 2,000 years, but God delayed His judgment and extended His grace so Jews and Gentiles can be saved by faith alone in believing Paul's gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). This is grace! ____...

When we die, what will we do in heaven?

Image
QUESTION: When we die, what will we do in heaven? ANSWER: The Bible does not provide exact details about what we will do, but it does mention the Judgment Seat of Christ and the rewards we will receive.  In the heavenly kingdom, there are hierarchies of power, Col_1:16, like an earthly government. As the Body of Christ, our position and power in this kingdom will be according to our knowledge of Paul's mystery doctrine, Rom_2:16. Some will rule over domains, while others will carry out the orders of those in higher positions. In unity we will serve Christ and bring honour to Him by fulfilling His will and desires. While we don't know much about this time, we can be certain that it will be beyond our imagination, 1Co_2:9, we will live in perfection, and be in the presence of our Saviour. MARANATHA! Are we involved in the Sheep and Goats Judgement?

Image
COMMENT: Matt 25:41-61 clearly says that if we don’t do any good works, God will send us to hell. REPLY: The verse mentioned is referring to the ‘Sheep and Goats’ judgement at the end of a 7-year tribulation period. During this horrendous time, believers are required to support Israel in order to gain salvation. However, this passage, and its resulting judgment, is not applicable to the current dispensation of grace, where salvation is obtained through faith in Jesus Christ alone, without the need for good works. It is important to interpret scripture according to the correct times. One cannot take scripture from one dispensation and apply it to another; else you create confusion and false doctrine. Our ‘Mystery’ dispensation ends at the catching up of the Body of Christ to heaven. The scripture you quote is about 7-years later and is part of the ‘Prophecy’ dispensation which does not apply today.

Every man's work shall be made manifest:

Image
Every man's work shall be made manifest: 1Co 3:12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;  (13)  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. Many of us believe that our good works in this life will determine how we are judged when we stand before Christ's judgment seat. This is not true! What you did in this life has little bearing on that day. It's all related to what you know. The knowledge of Christ within you is what's represented by the gold, silver, and precious stones. In essence, it's a judgment of your understanding of Paul's doctrine and your development within it.  It is the degree to which the wisdom and knowledge you have gained from studying the Word has formed Christ in you, Pro 24:3-5.
