How come God no longer speaks to man and no longer manifests Himself?

Image
In the dispensation of prophecy, God showed Himself to Israel by mighty miracles. This dispensation is earthly as its end is to redeem an earthly people to restore the earth,  thus God showed Himself by mighty physical works. Up until Paul, God did signs and wonders by His prophets and apostles so that Israel could see the hand of God and get saved. But Israel did not believe in their Messiah, so God put them aside, and through Paul, He turned to the Gentiles under a completely new dispensation, the dispensation of mystery. In this dispensation of mystery, Rom.16:25-26, God operates under different stipulations; not by mighty works, but by faith through His written Word and in the heart of man,  2Cor.5:7. God has provided us His written Word and we need to believe God’s message given through Paul, 1Cor.14:37, the words of God for us, and trust that God is saving us and readying us for the purpose of restoring the heavens. ______________ Join my WhatsApp channel to receive the...

Prophecy vs. Mystery

Image
Prophecy and mystery are two parts of the full redemption plan of God, but they are mutually exclusive. How can something prophesied and made know at the same time be a mystery and kept secret?  Paul clearly tells us that the mysteries that make up his doctrine were kept secret in the heart of God and only revealed after Paul was saved. No prophet of the Old Testament or in the Gospels ever knew or spoke of the things that Paul revealed. Act 3:20-21 And he shall send Jesus Christ, ... (21) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Rom 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, (26) But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, ... Today, our doctrine is that of mystery. ______________ Join my W...

God’s Family in Heaven and Earth, (Eph 3:15)

Image
The Bible’s first verse says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Gen 1:1). God needed angels and mankind to carry out His plans in both realms. However, when Lucifer/Satan polluted the heavens and Adam corrupted the earth with sin, God devised a two-fold plan to restore both. While much of the Bible focuses on God's creation of the nation Israel as His earthly people, His plan for the heavenly places remained a secret until the ministry of the Apostle Paul. Through Paul's teachings, we learn that God is forming the Church, known as the Body of Christ, to fulfill His will in heaven, Eph 3:1-11. God already had the nation Israel’s believing remnant as His people, but that was just part of His will. Why is God forming the Church the Body of Christ? In Paul’s epistles alone, Romans to Philemon, we learn that God is currently creating a body that will fulfill His will in heaven (as Israel will fulfill His will in earth; Matt 6:10). ______________ Join my WhatsA...

We don't feature in all of the 6000-years of Bible history

Image
We don't feature in all of the 6000-years of Bible history! When we study the Bible, we discover that God interacts with people differently according to the progression of His redemption plan. The moment this truth becomes real, it completely changes your understanding of scripture. In Matthew to John, we find the earthly ministry of Jesus for Israel. In Acts, Israel falls, and salvation goes to the Gentiles via Paul's ministry. Romans to Philemon contains our doctrine for this present dispensation. Lastly, Hebrews to Revelation focus on Israel's purpose in the ages to come, when God will fulfil His plan for both Israel and the Body of Christ. All of the Bible is for us, but it's not all to us, nor all about us. We are not the only people God's redemption plans. People in other ages needed scripture to instruct them in God's dealings with them, just as we do. If we fail to recognize this, we will never be able to properly understand what God is doing today, nor ...
