Paul preached a different gospel to Jesus and the 12

Image
Rom.16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, ... The words "my gospel" are of great interest. Paul personalized the gospel he was preaching. This makes it different to the gospel that John the Baptist, Jesus, and the twelve Apostles taught. They preached the Kingdom gospel, the good news that the Kingdom of Heaven was near. And that was true, as the King was in their midst and He was willing and able to usher in His kingdom if they would repent and believe. But due to the unbelief of Israel's rulers, this kingdom was placed on hold based on Rom.11:25. Paul, on the other hand, was preaching a grace gospel. A gospel where one could place one's trust in the cross-work of Christ and that through His death, burial, and resurrection, (through His work of righteousness, not our attempts), one receives forgiveness and is completely justified before God. In order to recognize the difference between these gospels, one needs to divide them, ...

Did Paul ever teach the Kingdom Gospel?

Image
Q: Did Paul ever teach the Kingdom Gospel?  Yes! But only for a very short period of time. In Act.9:19 it says that Saul preached that Jesus is the Son of God. This was the key faith condition (and confession) for receiving salvation as per this gospel. A person had to believe that Jesus was the prophesied Messiah and confess Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God. Q: So you are saying Paul is accursed for teaching another gospel? No! It is important to get your eschatology correct when assuming statements like this. At this time in Acts 9 (35AD), only the Kingdom gospel was preached. There was not even a hint of a Grace gospel yet. Nevertheless, what you refer to concerning being accursed for preaching another gospel, Gal.1:6–8, only happens after the Jerusalem council in Acts 15 (48AD). Paul writes Galatians in about 49AD warning believers that the Kingdom gospel is no longer valid when Peter bound up the kingdom in Acts 15:11 during the council meeting. ______________ Join ...

The Keys of the Kingdom

Image
As result of the Acts 15 Council Meeting, Peter used the keys of the kingdom, Matt.16:19, to “bind” or limit the ministry of the 12-apostles to the already saved, circumcised ‘Jews only’, while ‘loosing’ Paul, with his pure “Grace gospel,” to go to 'All men', meaning to both the unbelieving Jews and unbelieving Gentiles. Peter first used the keys to open the door to salvation for Jews under “the Kingdom Gospel” at Pentecost (Acts 2), and to the Samaritans through Philip (Acts 8:14-17). Now Peter was ‘binding’ or ‘limiting’ this ministry. Thus, after Acts 15:11, the 12 did not ‘go into all the world’ preaching ‘the Kingdom gospel,’ according to the ‘Great Commission.’ In fact, Jesus prophesied of this short work, saying, “Ye will not have gone over the cities of Israel until the Son of Man be come” at the end of the Tribulation (Matt. 10:23). The ‘Great Commission’ for Israel will one day be fulfilled after the Tribulation, in Millennial Kingdom, when the believing Jews will se...

Which Bible verses that are not in the Gospel of John would you use to lead someone to salvation?

Image
Our gospel in not fully explained in John, neither can it be found in any of the other gospels, because they contain the gospel of the Kingdom which is for Israel. It is in the ministry of Paul, directed to the Gentiles, that contains our grace gospel today. This gospel is explained in its entirety in Romans chapters 1–8, but for a summary of the gospel, see 1 Cor.15:1–4. Our grace gospel is not to repent and be baptized in water or Spirit. It does not contain additional works that prove our faith (according to James). Our gospel is simply to believe in Jesus Christ, that His death on the cross was for the forgiveness of our sins and His resurrection was for our justification, Rom.4:25. Why are there no works of faith? Because these works have aready been fulfilled by Jesus. His life and faithfulness, even unto death, are the works that satisfy our salvation, Eph.2:8–9. ______________ Join my WhatsApp channel to receive these quick Bible lessons on your phone: https://whatsapp.com/chan...

How are Jewish people saved today?

Image
COMMENT: In Act 2:37-38, the Jews asked Peter after the were pricked in their heart, "What must we do?" Peter answered them “Repent every one of you and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." That is the salvation and destiny of Jews today. REPLY: In correction, that is the salvation of the Jews in Peter’s day, and also during the Tribulation. Today, Jews are saved by only one gospel, Paul’s gospel of the grace of God; that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and that he was raised again for our justification. Thus, it is not to repent, be water baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit, but rather, Jews, just like Gentiles today, must believe in the cross work of Jesus Christ. Both Jews and Gentiles are saved in exactly the same way today according to Acts 15:11 and Gal 3:28. ______________ Join my WhatsApp channel to receive these quick Bible lessons on your phone: https://whatsapp.com/chan...

Salvation is conditional!

Image
COMMENT: “Salvation is conditional!” ANSWER: I do not argue that salvation is conditional. It certainly is, but that is in respect to the prophetic Kingdom program. As for the Grace program under mystery, all the conditions which were necessary for our salvation were accomplished through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So, in essence, there were conditions for our salvation, but those conditions are not upon us to fulfil, because they have already been fulfilled by Christ. This is why our salvation is a FREE GIFT by the grace of God through Christ. In contrast, the currently suspended Kingdom program required conditions to be fulfilled by those believers as part of the works they need to prove their faith, Jam 2:17. All the above scriptures you quote, to prove conditional salvation, speak of conditions to do because all these scriptures refer to the prophetic Kingdom program. We do not belong to this program, so these scriptures do not apply to us. ______________ Joi...

Are you saying that the gospel Jesus presented to the Jews was different from the gospel Paul presented to the Gentiles?

Image
QUESTION: For clarity sake, are you saying that the gospel Jesus presented to the Jews was different from the gospel Paul presented to the Gentiles? ANSWER: Yes. Very much so. Jesus and the 12 proclaimed the Kingdom gospel. Some of the conditions of this gospel, preached ONLY to Jews, was, to repent, confess Jesus as the Son of God, get water baptized and be filled with the Spirit. Matt.16:16; Acts 2:38. On the other hand, Paul preached the grace gospel which was the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.  Note that the Kingdom gospel never even mentions the cross. The Kingdom gospel involves faith and works, whereas the grace gospel is faith alone in the cross. From the references in Galatians 2:7-9, we clearly have 2 different gospels; the gospel OF the uncircumcision versus the gospel OF the circumcision. ______________ Join my WhatsApp channel to receive these quick Bible lessons on your phone: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaGag8iJP212QPSMmx2W

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

Image
Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. During the Gospels and Acts, Jews had to sell all they had and give the proceeds to the church. This demonstrated faith; that they would have ALL things when the Millennial Kingdom came. In the Kingdom they would be blessed and receive the wealth of the Gentile nations. Selling all they had was a small price for what they'd receive in the Kingdom. This verse can also apply to us, but in a different way. We don't have the promise of an earthly kingdom and physical blessings, but we can receive it spiritually. It is good to seek the things of God, spend time in the Word and be led by the Spirit. We have confidence in all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, but we don't inherit Israel's kingdom promises where all physical things will be added to us. Our inheritance is spiritual. Matt 6:33 must be understood from Israel's Kingdom program. We seek our ...

The Beatitudes, the Constitution of the Millennial Kingdom

Image
Did you know that Matt.5-7 is the inside scoop on how the Millennial Kingdom will be governed. Read it with this context and note its uncompromising laws. It is clear that righteousness is on a WHOLE new level.  Now, if you wonder how in the world one can abide by those laws; know that the Jews will be perfect examples of this righteousness, having the laws written on their hearts and empowered by the Spirit to walk in these ways, Jer 31:31-34. Second, Satan is imprisoned in the bottomless pit, Rev 20:3, thus temptation and deceit in the Gentile nations will not be prevalent and education in the law will keep them in the ways of righteousness, truth, and peace. We are not in this Kingdom today and we are still subject to temptation and deceit, but we have the Grace doctrine. As we grow in knowledge of God's Word and submit to obedience to it, 2Co 10:5, we can mortify the deeds of the body, walk in the spirit, and learn to please God, Rom 8:1-17.

Paul's Credibility #3

Image
In Rom.16:25-26, Paul refers to the gospel as 'his gospel', by saying, "...according to my gospel...". Paul differentiates the gospel he received from the Lord, the Grace Gospel, from the Gospel of the Kingdom, proclaimed by the 12-apostles. These two gospels were both valid during the Acts period, but the Kingdom gospel was suspended by Peter at the Jerusalem council in Acts 15:11 when he said, "But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even [in like manner] as they." This is why Paul was able to explicitly proclaim that there was NO OTHER VALID GOSPEL but his grace gospel in Gal.1:8-9. Based on this clarification, Rom.2:15 follows on nicely when Paul proclaims boldly, "in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel". Since Paul's gospel is the only gospel in operation during this grace dispensation, it stands to reason that men would be subject to faith in its ...

Two gospels, two programs

Image
COMMENT: Why did Peter command the Jews in Acts 2:38-39 and the Gentiles in Acts 10:48 to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins and they would receive the gift of the Holy Ghost? REPLY: That was the only means of salvation then. The grace gospel that Paul taught had not been revealed yet. During the majority of the 40 years, between Jesus' ascension and the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD, there were two gospels; the Kingdom gospel (only for Jews) and the Grace gospel (for all men). This is the transition period described in the book of Acts when both the 12-Apostles and Paul were preaching; the ministry of the 12 diminishing and the ministry of Paul increasing. By the time Jerusalem fell, the Kingdom gospel was fully suspended due to the blinding of Israel and only Paul’s grace gospel could save. Paul’s gospel will continue to save until the we are raptured, bringing a close to the Grace program. Thereafter, the Kingdom gospel will reactivate for the first half of the...
