Grace Given Before You Asked

What if the proof of God's faithfulness is not in your performance, but in His call?

📖 Key Verse (KJV):

"I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ" — 1Cor.1:4

📚 Today's Lesson:
Paul opens his letter not with correction but with thanksgiving, and the reason is striking. The grace of God was given to the Corinthians in Christ Jesus, not earned by them. Every enrichment they possessed, in utterance and knowledge, flowed from that gift, not from their own strength. Notice where Paul anchors their confidence: the testimony of Christ was confirmed in them, and God is faithful who called them into the fellowship of His Son. The lesson is plain. Your standing rests on His call, not your consistency. Grace does not wait for you to become worthy; it declares you worthy in Christ and then works in you. This is the ground of all assurance, and it is the same ground for every believer today.

📌 Reflection:
Am I measuring God's faithfulness by my performance, or by His call?

🌟 Practical Takeaway:
You do not have to manufacture a reason for God to stay faithful to you. He called you into fellowship with His Son, and that call does not depend on your best day. Rest in His faithfulness today. Take one minute this morning to thank Him, not for what you did, but for the grace already given you in Christ.
